Air Fryer Garlic Parmesan Potatoes
My air fryer is one of my most used kitchen appliances. I love how easy and quick it is along with the minimal clean up, so when I wanted a side of potatoes for dinner I knew I wanted to utilize the air fryer. With that, air fryer garlic parmesan potatoes were born!
A crispy exterior with a soft potato interior mixed with a buttery, garlicky, Parmesan-y (?!) flavor and these are my new favorite go-to side dish. Keep reading to find out how to make them!
*If you don’t have an air fryer don’t worry you can still make these! Just follow the same recipe for the ingredients and cook in a pan on the stove over medium heat until golden brown.
Ingredients:
- Potatoes (I use Russet potatoes but feel free to use your favorite or whatever you have on hand)
- Salt
- Pepper
- Garlic Powder
- Grated Parmesan
- Melted Butter
- Olive Oil
- Parsley Flakes (optional)
How to Make Garlic Parmesan Potatoes:
Start by washing and scrubbing your potatoes to remove any dirt, but do not peel. Dry your potatoes with a paper towel to remove any excess moisture.
Cut your potatoes into one inch cubes trying to keep all pieces as close to the same size as possible. Place cut potatoes in a bowl and toss with a drizzle of olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Line air fryer with potatoes in a single layer, taking care not to overlap any.
Air fry on 400º for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes is up, shake the basket to change placement of potatoes to ensure an even cook. Use tongs to place back in a single layer if needed (potatoes will be hot.)
Continue to air fry at 400º for another 5-10 minutes or until golden and crispy. Check the potatoes at the 5 minute mark and remove if done or continue cooking if necessary.
Remove potatoes from air fryer basket and place in a serving dish. Melt butter in a microwave safe dish and pour or brush over potatoes. Sprinkle with grated parmesan and (optional) parsley flakes.
Enjoy!
